After the catastrophic nuclear plant radiation leak at Chernobyl in Russia in the 1980s, Dr.Igor Smirnov and his scientific team were commissioned by the former Soviet government to investigate the normalizing effect of certain mountain spring water on the victims of the radioactive fallout.
